Specialty Moving Systems, Inc. was established in 1982 by Ken Niesner. The family-owned and operated company quickly became one of the most respected names in the transportation industry, handling exclusively the transportation and storage of delicate electronics, equipment and trade show shipments. We quickly outgrew our original facility in Wood Dale, Illinois. Our corporate headquarters is now located in a 140,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Glendale Heights, Illinois. The Glendale Heights facility is second to none in the transportation industry. Extensive growth and an expanded customer account base resulted in the need to open additional facilities in Seattle, Washington.
